The NSWIC website utilizes slide shows of high quality photography that represents what the organization does and stands for. It is a cleanly designed website that focuses on getting across the mission and accomplishments of the NSWIC. The main purpose of this website is to make people aware of the organization and the work it does. Hence, all the webpages are designed with that in mind. The pages are simple, easy to read, and densely packed with information. The home page beautifully showcases the latest news and stories related to the company and their field. The rest of the website stays consistent with this design language and shows off exactly what the NSWIC does and represents.
How we did it.
A blue and white color scheme was chosen for the website with the intent of creating a visually appealing and user-friendly browsing experience. Blue, often associated with trust and calmness, helps to instill a sense of reliability, while the clean white background enhances readability and focus. This combination not only makes the site aesthetically pleasing but also encourages visitors to engage more deeply with the content. To further improve navigation, dropdown menus were implemented in the navigation bar, effectively organizing the many pages filled with information and articles. This design choice minimizes clutter and allows users to access relevant content quickly and intuitively.
Additionally, clear headings and subheadings are employed throughout the site, guiding users through various sections and making it easier for them to locate specific information. The use of grey text on a plain white background ensures that every page is as readable as possible, providing sufficient contrast without causing strain on the eyes. Overall, these design elements work together to create a seamless user experience, making it convenient for viewers to browse through the wealth of information available while enjoying a visually engaging website
What Did we do for NSW Irrigators
One of the many remarkable features of the New South Wales Irrigation Council’s website is its responsive design. This design ensures that the site adapts seamlessly to the screen size and resolution of the device being used, whether it’s a desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone. By implementing a slightly different yet equally appealing layout for mobile devices, the website guarantees a consistent and user-friendly experience across all platforms. This adaptive approach is crucial, as it maintains readability of text, appropriate scaling of images, and intuitive navigation, regardless of the device. In today’s mobile-first world, where a significant portion of web traffic originates from smartphones, this focus on responsive design reflects our commitment to accessibility and user experience. The aim is to make the website as easy to use as possible, allowing every visitor to engage effectively with the content. By prioritizing these design principles, we ensure that all users can access vital information and resources conveniently, fostering a more informed and engaged community.
