The Huba Nepal website, from the very beginning, reflects the brand and their intended image in popular culture. The website is Minimal, bold, and lets several marketing materials take the center stage when pitching their products. The focus on boldness remains consistent throughout the landing page with the use of high quality images and videos to illustrate the different collections Huba offers and the company’s place in Nepal’s high fashion scene. The product pages continue the same design language and use minimal black-on-white aesthetic to showcase the products on offer.
How we did it.
When designing the website, we kept in mind what the brand image Huba wants to cultivate in the luxury fashion space. We strived towards that end and came up with the concept of bold minimalism, which perfectly aligns with contemporary high-fashion aesthetics. We used this design language everywhere on the website, from the sophisticated typography choices to the careful use of white space that lets each product breathe. A strong focus was put on “Show don’t tell”, as the Huba brand and their products are already quite unique and attention grabbing, so the decision was made to not clutter the webpages too much and let the viewer just see the products. Large, high-quality product photography takes center stage, with minimal text interference, allowing the craftsmanship and design details to speak for themselves. The navigation was designed to be subtle yet intuitive, ensuring that visitors can easily browse collections while maintaining the premium feel of the site. We implemented smooth transitions and subtle animations that enhance the luxury experience without overwhelming the visual aesthetic.
